ONLG COUNCIL CHAIRMAN RECEIVES NEWLY DEPLOYED POLICE HEAD FOR IBUSA POLICE DIVISION
31/07/2026 | IBUSA — The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Olorogun Innocent Esewezie, has received the newly deployed Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Ibusa Police Division, CSP Isaac Uhawah, during a courtesy visit to the Council Chairman’s office. The Council Boss congratulated the new DPO on his posting and assured him of the local government’s support and cooperation in safeguarding lives and property across the council area.

The Chairman emphasized that security is fundamental to sustainable development, stressing the importance of collaboration among the Nigeria Police Force, government, traditional institutions and community stakeholders. He urged CSP Uhawah to strengthen community policing, build trust with residents and maintain effective engagement with relevant stakeholders, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting lawful initiatives aimed at improving the security architecture of Oshimili North.
In his remarks, CSP Isaac Uhawah expressed appreciation to the Council Chairman for the warm reception and pledged to work closely with the local government, traditional rulers, youth leaders and other stakeholders to sustain peace and tackle criminal activities in Ibusa and its environs. Both parties reaffirmed the importance of strong community-security partnerships in promoting a safer and more peaceful Oshimili North.
