NORTH-NORTH APC LEADERSHIP THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND ESEWEZIE, ADOPTS HIM AS SOLE APC CANDIDATE FOR HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

ATUMA: The political tide in Oshimili North LGA of Delta State has turned decisively as APC leaders across the North-North axis unanimously adopted Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie as their sole candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly.

The resolution came today, Friday, May 1, 2026, after a high-level strategic meeting of APC stakeholders, elders, and grassroots mobilizers at the residence of Prof. Andy Egwunyenga, a foremost APC Leader, where unity and victory topped the agenda.

Hon. Innocent Esewezie, who currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North, unveiled his Nomination form while reaffirming his deep-rooted bond with the North-North Axis, declaring himself “a friend and partner in progress.” He pledged inclusive representation, people-focused legislation, and unwavering commitment to development.

In a firm Communiqué, the North-North APC leadership cited his proven grassroots impact, accessibility, and competence as reasons for the consensus. They also applauded Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for visible development strides.
