GOV. OBOREVWORI WINS APC GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARIES IN WARD 5 IBUSA IN OSHIMILI NORTH LGA OF DELTA STATE
IBUSA – The APC gubernatorial primary election held in Ward 5, Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, on Thursday 21st of May 2026 ended in jubilation as Governor Sheriff Oborevwori emerged victorious amid widespread celebration by party faithful and supporters.

The primary election was conducted in a peaceful and orderly atmosphere, with party members turning out in impressive numbers to exercise their franchise and reaffirm their confidence in the leadership and vision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, APC House of Assembly Sole Candidate for Oshimili North Constituency, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the electorates, party executives, ward leaders, youths, women, and supporters for their massive participation and unwavering commitment toward the success of the primary election.
Hon. Esewezie commended the peaceful conduct of the exercise, describing the outcome as a clear demonstration of the people’s trust and confidence in Governor Oborevwori’s leadership and developmental agenda for Delta State. He also praised APC stakeholders and electoral officials for ensuring transparency, fairness, and orderliness throughout the process, noting that the smooth conduct of the election reflected the unity and growing strength of the party in Oshimili North and across the state.According to him, the governor’s victory further reinforces the people’s commitment to continuity, progress, and good governance.
He urged party faithful to remain united and focused ahead of the 2027 general elections, emphasizing that sustained cooperation and collective support would position the APC for even greater electoral success across Delta State.
