APC OSHIMILI NORTH PAYS CONSULTATIVE VISIT TO THE OBUZOR OF IBUSA; SEEKS PERMISSION TO COMMENCE POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS

IBUSA: The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshimili North Local Government Area, led by the LGA Chairman, Hon. Austin Nnabuife, today, Sunday 13th of September 2026, paid a traditional consultative visit to the Palace of the Obuzor of Ibusa, HRM Obi (Prof.) Louis Chelunor Nwoboshi, in preparation for the forthcoming APC campaign kickoff in Ibusa.

The visit was not merely ceremonial. It was a demonstration of respect for traditional authority, political maturity and the APC’s determination to engage every critical stakeholder as the party mobilises for the 2027 general elections. The delegation sought the permission, goodwill and royal blessings of His Royal Majesty as the party prepares to officially commence its Ward-Ward Campaign activities in Ibusa and across the Council Area.

The Palace was filled with a remarkable gathering of party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and political actors from across Oshimili North, reflecting the growing strength, unity and organisational capacity of the APC in the Local Government. The visit also attracted the presence of key political figures, including Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Aniocha/Oshimili House of Representatives APC Candidate; Engr. Fidel Onwodi, Aniocha North Constituency 1 House of Assembly APC Candidate; and Dr. Alexander Awunor, Aniocha North Constituency 2 House of Assembly APC Candidate.

Their presence signifies the strategic importance of the engagement and the growing convergence of political leadership around a common objective: building a stronger, more united and more formidable APC ahead of 2027.With the traditional institution duly engaged, the political structures activated and the grassroots increasingly energised, Oshimili North APC is steadily moving into campaign mode.
