2026 ICDU NATIONAL CONFERENCE

IBUSA — Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, Ugonwa Ibusa and the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North LGA, has reiterated the need for youth empowerment, enhanced security, and accelerated infrastructural development as critical drivers of sustainable growth in Ibusa. He spoke at the 2026 Annual Easter Conference of the Ibusa Community Development Union, themed “Investing in the Future Development of Ibusa Community” which held on Saturday 4th April, 2026 at Obi Nwaokocha Okeze Event Center, Ogbeowele, Ibusa.

The event drew community leaders, youths, professionals, and diaspora stakeholders to deliberate on development strategies.

Esewezie emphasized skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and education as tools to reduce unemployment and social vices. He also called for stronger community-security collaboration and sustained infrastructure investment, urging unity and collective responsibility for Ibusa’s future.
