Youths Commissioner; Esewezie; Visit Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Nnewi
The Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, Comrade Agbateyiniro Isaac Weyinmi, in company of Hon. Innocent Esewezie, today, paid a Courtesy Visit to INNOSON VEHICLE MANUFACTURING PLANT, Nnewi in line with the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) Company, one of the Automobile Assembly Plants in Nigeria, is Nigeria’s first indigenous car manufacturing plant with its Headquarters in Nnewi, Anambra State was established in 2007.
Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma (CON) is the founder and CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company; born 1st October 1961, he is the last of 6 children and a native of Umudim, Nnewi.
In 1981, he started out as a spare-parts dealer in South-East Nigeria and later founded Innoson Group with Innoson Manufacturing, Innoson Tech and Industries Co. LTD as it’s subsidiaries.
On arrival, the Honorable Commissioner and his team were very well received and taken on a tour of the factory.
The CEO of IVM, while addressing the Delta State Team, called for collaboration with his highly reputable company through the “Kiara Innoson” which is saddled with the responsibility of training youths on vehicle manufacturing in Nigeria.
Hon. Esewezie commended the Automobile Business Magnet on his initiative in ensuring positive youth engagement across the country while further stating readiness to collaborate not just in Delta State but Oshimili North LGA in particular.
