RT. HON. OLOWO-LED OSHIMILI NORTH LEGISLATIVE ARM DECLARES FULL SUPPORT FOR EXECUTIVE ARM AND SEEKS MORE ROBUST SYNERGY

IBUSA – In a clear show of unity and resolve, the Councillors of Oshimili North Local Government Area have unanimously declared their firm, unambiguous support for the administration of the Executive Council Chairman, Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie and in the task of rebuilding and repositioning Oshimili North.

The declaration was made today, 1 February 2026, during a strategic get-together convened by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Innocent Esewezie where Councillors spoke with rare candour about the direction of governance in the local government.

The Legislators commended Hon. Esewezie for what they described as transparent, people-centred and results-driven leadership, noting visible progress in infrastructure, healthcare delivery, community development and accountability.

Speaking on behalf of the Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Henry Olowo affirmed that the Councillors are fully committed to providing the necessary legislative backing to ensure smooth governance and accelerated development across all communities.

Responding, Hon. Esewezie thanked the Councillors for their support describing the show of solidarity as a powerful statement of unity of purpose. He emphasized that genuine development is only possible when both arms of government work in harmony.

The meeting ended with a renewed collective resolve to serve, protect peace, and unlock the full potential of Oshimili North for the good of its people.
