OSHIMILI NORTH COUNCIL CHAIRMAN PRESENTS 2026 BUDGET BEFORE THE LEGISLATIVE ARM
AKWUKWU-IGBO: In a bold demonstration of unwavering commitment to the people’s mandate, the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, today, Thursday, 5th of March 2026, laid before the 7th Legislative Assembly, under the principled leadership of Rt. Hon. Henry Olowo, his visionary 2026 Budget proposal boldly titled “Budget of Renewed Resilience and Strategic Development.”
The Council Chairman, a true champion of progress aligned with the MORE Agenda, presented a financial roadmap meticulously crafted to defend and expand the remarkable gains already recorded by his administration while decisively tackling the most pressing developmental battles facing Oshimili North.
At the heart of this revolutionary the proposed budget with a total of ₦12,917,030,000.00 (Twelve billion, nine hundred and seventeen million, thirty thousand naira only) lies an uncompromising focus on:
Massive infrastructural revolution to connect our communities and unlock economic potential;
Ironclad security enhancement to protect lives and restore peace;
Aggressive economic empowerment initiatives that put money directly into the pockets of our people;
