IBUSA YOUTH INTERIM EXCO PAYS Courtesy VISIT TO DELTA STATE COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
ASABA: On June 10, 2025, the Interim Executive Committee of the Ibusa Community Youth, constituted and endorsed by His Royal Majesty, Prof. Louis Nwoboshi (Obuzor of Ibusa), paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development, Barr. ThankGod Trakiriowei, at his office in the Prof. Chike Edozien Secretariat, Asaba.

The visit served as a formal introduction and an opportunity to foster collaboration and align with the Ministry’s vision for youth development across Delta State. The Commissioner warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed strong support for the interim body. He praised the youths for promoting peace and stability in Ibusa and assured them of the Ministry’s readiness to oversee a credible youth election within two months, as mandated.
Barr. Trakiriowei lauded the Obuzor’s leadership and acknowledged the role of the LGA Chairman in youth empowerment. He emphasized inclusivity, urging the committee to unify all youth factions.
Interim Chairman, Comr. Patrick Nwankwo, thanked the Commissioner and outlined key responsibilities, including managing youth affairs, ensuring transparency, and organizing free and fair elections. The visit concluded with the presentation of the Chairman’s address and a commemorative group photo.
The committee looks forward to a productive partnership with the Ministry.
