ESEWEZIE RECEIVES NIGERIA ARMY, AS NEW ARMY BASE IS SET TO OPEN UP
IBUSA: The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North, Hon. Innocent Esewezie received the men of the Nigeria Army deployed from the 63 Brigade Command, Asaba at his Office in Ibusa yesterday as the Nigeria Army officially commences operations at its new Base in the community.
It would be recalled that the Garrison Commander, Mohammed Sheriff Kaigama, recently paid a courtesy visit on the Proscribed Authority and traditional ruler of Ibusa community, HRH Obi (Prof) L.C. Nwoboshi where the community led by the Obuzor-in-council in company of the Council Chairman, Hon. Innocent Esewezie received and welcomed the Army Commander and security discussions were mutually agreed upon.
It is believed that the presence of an Army Unit within the region will bring a renewed sense of safety and progress to the people of Ibusa and environs.
Also present with Hon. Esewezie to receive the military were the Leader of the Legislative House, Rt. Hon. Chris Nwamgbor; and the Secretary to the Local Government, Comrade Austin Ajufo.
