Esewezie Receives Blessings From LGA PDP Chairman, Chief Ogwude

OKPANAM: In continuation of his campaign towards a second tenure as Oshimili North LGA Council Chairman, Hon. Innocent Esewezie officially made his intention known to the leadership of the PDP by consulting with the Party’s LGA Chairman, Chief Nduka Ogwude at his residence.

Esewezie and his campaign team were warmly received and drinks and traditional kolanut presented by the LGA Chairman and some executives present as a sign of “welcome”.

While making his intention public, Hon. Esewezie eulogized Chief Ogwude for his sterling management and coordination of the party over the years especially now that his tenure is gradually coming to an end.
He further thanked him and the leadership of the Party for their unwavering support accorded him during his 3-year tenure which contributed largely to the many successes his administration recorded while also giving assurance of more visible dividends in the coming years, when elected.

Hon. Esewezie haven received the official endorsement and nomination of the entire PDP leadership of Oshimili North LGA, is hopeful that the PDP will consolidate on giving the younger generation a sense of belonging by looking towards their direction in the coming future.

Responding, the Isama of Okpanam, Chief Nduka Ogwude, congratulated Hon. Innocent Esewezie for a very successful and people-oriented first tenure, as widely adjudged by the people, and urged him to do more for the people in the coming years.

He thereafter blessed his aspiration and prayed for his victory at the polls in the coming few months.

Recall that Hon. Innocent Esewezie recently kick-started his campaign with a visit to the Traditional Ruler and Prescribed Authority in Ibusa, the Obuzor of Ibusa, HRH Obi Prof Louis Nwoboshi seeking his Royal Blessings. And had also in the recent past been endorsed on two occasions by the leadership of the PDP in Oshimili North.
