ESEWEZIE JOINS Oborevwori, IBORI, OKOWA, AZINGE, OTHERS TO HONOUR THE LATE FATHER OF REAL ADMIRAL DELE EZEOBA (RTD) IN IBUSA

The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Innocent Ifeanyichukwu Esewezie, today Friday 28 November 2025, joined His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State ably represented by His Excellency, Sir Monday Onyeme, Deputy Governor; and an array of very distinguished leaders, including former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori; immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and globally renowned jurist Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, to pay their final respects at the burial ceremony of Chief Raphael Odiaka Ezeoba, father of Real Admiral Dele Joseph Ezeoba (Rtd), in Ibusa, Oshimili North LGA of Delta State.

The solemn event drew top government officials, community leaders, captains of industry, and prominent sons and daughters of Delta State and beyond who gathered to support the Ezeoba family. The atmosphere was marked by heartfelt tributes celebrating the life, legacy, and contributions of the late patriarch.

Hon. Esewezie described the deceased as a respected elder whose values of discipline, integrity, and service were clearly reflected in the outstanding accomplishments of his children, particularly Real Admiral Dele Ezeoba (Rtd), former Chief of Naval Staff.

He commiserated with the family and prayed for God’s continued comfort and strength, while reaffirming the unity and communal spirit that bind the people of Ibusa and Oshimili North.
