April 18, 2025 | IBUSA:
The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, today honoured an invitation from the Landlords’ Association of the Itego-Umuisor/Okponta Axis — one of Ibusa’s rapidly expanding residential areas.
The interactive meeting created a platform for residents to engage directly with the Council Chairman. On behalf of the association, their Chairman expressed appreciation for Hon. Esewezie’s personal attendance and presented a list of urgent community needs. These included the restoration of electricity through the provision of a transformer, improved road networks, enhanced security, as well as requests for a primary healthcare centre, a market, and government-owned schools.
In response, Hon. Esewezie praised the residents for their contributions toward developing the area and assured them of the government’s commitment to addressing their concerns. He emphasized that the Itego axis holds significant priority in the State’s developmental plans and promised swift action, especially in restoring power and improving security.
In attendance were Comrade Austin Ajufo, alongside Councilors Hon. Patrick Nwankwo, Hon. Achuzia Nwajei, Hon. Augustina Odogwu, and other appointees of the Chairman.
