Esewezie Unveils Proposed Ibusa Ultra Modern Market

The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North LGA, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, today unveiled the proposed Ibusa Ultra Modern Market in his office at the Liaison Office Ibusa. The architectural design was prepared by Arch. Ifeanyi Onwordi, Alamuzo Ibusa; a seasoned and experienced professional in the field.

IBUSA NEEDS AN ULTRA MODERN MARKET

Without sounding modest, Ibusa truly has NO market.
The popular ASHIAEKE MARKET is just a one-storey building shopping complex with extension/encroachment into the surrounding Ogbe, private residences, internal streets and the major Umejei road where traders take advantage of and occupy on market days.

Recall, that so many accidents have been recorded as a result of traders’ encroachment unto the major road thereby obstructing vehicular flow.

On assumption into Office, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, Ugonwa Igbuzo, put in place various mechanisms and stopped trading and parking on the Ashiaeke Axis of the Umejei road and thus curbed/greatly reduced the incidences of accidents within the axis.

The market which, when constructed and functional, will boost economic activities not just in Ibusa but by extension grow the economic potential of the entire Oshimili North LGA and also extend to neighbouring council areas and state.

The concept of the market spans the construction of lock-up shops, open stalls, banks, restaurant, security post, parking lot, loading area and more.
