ESEWEZIE, OJEOGBUE, IWEZU, OTHERS; INSPECTS NEWLY RENOVATED ONLG LEGISLATIVE COMPLEX

…A befitting home for legislation, stronger institutions and better governance in Oshimili North.

On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Olorogun Innocent Esewezie, led a delegation of political leaders and stakeholders on an inspection tour of the newly renovated Senator Peter Nwaoboshi Legislative Complex at the Council’s Secretariat, Akwukwu-Igbo ahead of its official commissioning. The delegation included the APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Austin Nnabuife (Ojeogbue), Hon. Ben Iwezue and other prominent party leaders.

The Complex, which underwent extensive remodelling in recent months due to its very deplorable state, is designed to provide the Legislative Arm of the council with a modern, functional and befitting environment for the discharge of its responsibilities. The Council Chairman,Hon. Esewezie expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, commending the contractors for delivering the project within the stipulated timeframe.

The Council Chairman described the completion of the complex as another milestone in his administration’s commitment to strengthening local democratic institutions and providing durable infrastructure that will enhance governance and service delivery.

The LGA APC Party Chairman, Hon. Austin Nnabuife also commended the quality of workmanship and congratulated the Chairman on another people-oriented project. Olorogun Esewezie disclosed that the facility will soon be officially commissioned and handed over to the councillors.
