Hon Esewezie Receives Royal Blessing from Ugoani of Okpanam; Takes Traditional Ruler and Council of Chiefs ON A TOUR OF the New Cottage Hospital

OKPANAM- Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, has continued to receive widespread commendations and royal support ahead of the forthcoming Delta State House of Assembly election, following his recent visit to the palace of the Ugoani of Okpanam, where he officially presented the newly completed cottage hospital project to the revered monarch and members of the traditional council.

During the visit, Hon. Esewezie took the Ugoani of Okpanam and his council of chiefs on an inspection tour around the newly built cottage hospital situated in Okpanam, explaining that the healthcare facility was conceived to improve access to quality and affordable medical care for residents of the community and its environs.
Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Esewezie reiterated his commitment to people-oriented projects, stressing that healthcare delivery remains one of the key pillars of his vision for Oshimili North Constituency. He noted that the hospital project was borne out of his passion to alleviate the suffering of the people and complement government efforts in the health sector.


According to him, the facility would help reduce medical emergencies associated with inadequate healthcare infrastructure, while also providing accessible treatment for women, children, and the elderly within the community
The Ugoani of Okpanam, HRM Dr Michael Mbanefo(JP), visibly impressed by the project, commended Hon. Esewezie for his foresight, generosity, and dedication to community development. The royal father described the cottage hospital as a landmark intervention that would positively impact the lives of the people for many years to come.
He further applauded Hon. Esewezie for carrying traditional institutions along in his developmental strides and for demonstrating humility and leadership qualities worthy of emulation.
In his remarks, the monarch offered royal blessings and prayers for Hon. Esewezie, expressing confidence in his ability to represent the people effectively at the Delta State House of Assembly.
Members of the council of chiefs also praised the initiative, describing the project as timely and impactful, while urging political leaders to emulate such gestures capable of directly improving the welfare of the people.





The visit attracted community leaders, political associates, youth representatives, and supporters who lauded Hon. Esewezie’s growing commitment towards healthcare development and grassroots empowerment in Oshimili North Local Government Area.
