COLLEGE OF ODOGWU HIGH CHIEFS OF OSHIMILI NORTH ADOPTS HON. CHIEF INNOCENT ESEWEZIE AS PREFERRED HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CANDIDATE
IBUSA: The College of Odogwu High Chiefs of Oshimili North Local Government, on Thursday, 8th May 2026, paid a strategic courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government, Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, at the Oshimili North Liaison Office, Ibusa, where they unanimously adopted him as their preferred candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly.

Led by High Chief Sunday Okonta, Odogwu of Akwukwu-Igbo Kingdom, the delegation described Hon. Esewezie, fondly revered as Ezinwajiani, as a distinguished leader whose respect for traditional institutions, commitment to grassroots development, and unwavering investment in community security have earned him admiration across Oshimili North.
The Chiefs commended the Executive Chairman for fostering cordial relationships with royal fathers and strengthening local vigilante operations. They pledged closer collaboration with his administration towards sustaining peace, security, and communal harmony.
Responding, Hon. Esewezie appreciated the royal endorsement and reaffirmed his commitment to partnering with traditional institutions in advancing development, stability, and responsive representation for the people of Oshimili North.
