INAUGURATION OF CITY BOY MOVEMENT EXPANDED EXECUTIVES DELTA STATE CHAPTER HELD TODAY
ASABA – The City Boy Movement in Delta State has taken a significant step forward as its National Director, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, officially unveiled the Movement’s structure in Asaba at an event which was held at The Event Center, Asaba, today Tuesday 5th of May 2026, drew Party loyalists, youth leaders, and key stakeholders from across the State.

In his address, the National Director, Shoga, emphasized the need for unity, discipline, and coordinated action, stressing that the success of the movement depends on a well-organized structure.
Also speaking at the event, Hon. Innocent Esewezie; a one time SSA to the Governor on Youth Development and also Executive Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development and now currently the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North LGA; described the movement as a platform for youth empowerment and political inclusion, giving young people a stronger voice in governance.
He further projected a target of 2.7 million votes, expressing confidence in the Movement’s growing support base.

The State Director General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Jonathan Goru, reaffirmed the Movement’s commitment to large-scale grassroots mobilization, stressing its capacity to deliver substantial voter support in the coming electoral cycle.
Notable personalities present includes Mr Sheriff Junior Oborevwori, Delta State Patron; Chief Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana) amongst others.
