SOUTH-SOUTH ZONAL SUMMIT OF RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADORS KICKS OFF IN ASABA
Asaba, Delta State – March 23, 2026
The South-South Zonal Summit of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors commenced on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Press Center, New Government House, Asaba.
The two-day summit, aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and deepening public awareness of the ongoing national reforms and developmental initiatives of the Tinubu administration, attracted high-profile dignitaries and political stakeholders from across the South-South region.
In attendance were the host Governor, His Excellency, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori; National Coordinator and Director General, Senator Hope Uzodinma; South-South Coordinator, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa; Chairman of the occasion, Senator Adedayo Clement Adeyeye; Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu; and Chief Olisa Metuh, among other notable leaders.
The summit also witnessed the presence of Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ state and local government coordinators from across the six South-South states.
As part of the activities lined up for the Day 2 event, 25 Local Government Area (LGA) Coordinators are scheduled to be inaugurated amongst those to be sworn in are nine serving Local Government Chairmen, namely:
Aniocha North LGA
Bomadi LGA
Burutu LGA
Ika South LGA
Isoko North LGA
Oshimili North LGA
Udu LGA
Ughelli North LGA
Uvwie LGA.
The summit continues today, Tuesday, March 24, 2026 with further strategic sessions focused on enhancing coordination and mobilizing support for the Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots level.
