COUNCIL CHAIRMAN PRESENTS FIRST BATCH OF CARS TO LEGISLATORS IN OSHIMILI NORTH LGA, DELTA STATE
IBUSA: The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, yesterday, Tuesday 17th of March 2026, handed over the initial set of vehicles to serving Councillors representing the various wards in the local government.

The presented was met with considerable enthusiasm as the recipients took possession of the vehicles amid joy and expressions of gratitude.
Hon. Esewezie explained that the initiative forms part of his administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery at the grassroots level. He emphasised that providing reliable transportation would help address longstanding mobility constraints faced by the Councillors, allowing them to engage more effectively with their constituents and carry out their legislative duties with greater efficiency.
The 2-time Chairman further noted that equipping elected representatives with essential resources is vital to advancing the local government’s overall development objectives. He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership that ensures tangible benefits reach every ward and community.
The Councillors, led by the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Henry Olowo, clearly delighted by the gesture, conveyed their sincere appreciation to the Chairman, describing it as both thoughtful and unprecedented.
They pledged their continued support and full dedication to the progress and development of Oshimili North Local Government Area.
