HON. ESEWEZIE APPROVES THE CONSTITUTION OF 2026 REVENUE COMMITTEE FOR OSHIMILI NORTH LGA

The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, today approved the constitution of the 2026 Revenue Committee as part of his administration’s sustained efforts to strengthen revenue generation, enhance fiscal discipline, and ensure the efficient management of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

The Committee is composed as follows:

Chief Pino Aniemeke – Member
Hon. Obiechie Chinedu – Member
Hon. Cyril Afagwu – Member
Mr. Lawrence Nwanze – Member
Mr. Austin Nwulia – Member

The committee is tasked to:

Review existing revenue collection mechanisms and recommend improvements where necessary.

Ensure compliance with approved revenue laws, rates, and regulations

Block revenue leakages and promote accountability in revenue administration

Propose innovative strategies for expanding the Local Government’s revenue base and

Advise the Executive Chairman on policies that will enhance effective revenue mobilization in the 2026 fiscal year.

Members will be formally inaugurated on Tuesday, 20th January 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Oshimili North Local Government Secretariat, Akwukwu-Igbo.
All members are expected to be seated before the scheduled time.
