HON. ESEWEZIE ENHANCES OSHIMILI NORTH SECURITY ARCHITECTURE WITH FRESH DEPLOYMENT OF MODERN OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT

The Executive Chairman of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, has again reinforced his administration’s security agenda with the procurement and presentation of an additional batch of modern security gadgets to strengthen local operations across the LGA. This latest support follows previous interventions in which the Chairman supplied drones, CCTV surveillance systems, and advanced monitoring tools to both the police and community security outfits, significantly improving intelligence gathering and rapid response capacity.

The newly delivered items which were presented today, Monday 1 December 2025, include bulletproof vests, bullets, jungle boots, walkie-talkies, raincoats, high-powered flashlights, and other essential operational gear designed to boost field readiness and frontline resilience.

Presenting the equipment at his office, Hon. Esewezie charged security operatives to intensify their efforts in tackling cultism, kidnapping, vandalism, and other criminal threats. He further tasked them to demonstrate heightened professionalism and effective service delivery, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property in Oshimili North.
