ONLGA CHAIRMAN ESEWEZIE SUMMONS SECURITY STAKEHOLDERS; REVIEWS REPORTS, AND MANDATES NEW SECURITY MEASURES

AKWUKWU-IGBO: In a firm and uncompromising step to safeguard lives and property in Oshimili North, Executive Chairman Hon. Innocent Esewezie summoned a high-level security meeting with key stakeholders. In attendance were the Police, Military, DSS, NSCDC, Traditional Rulers and other stakeholders.

The Council Chairman ordered a thorough review of recent security reports, confronting existing lapses and identifying immediate solutions to eliminate threats to peace and stability across all communities within the council area.

After intense deliberations, Hon. Esewezie issued a directive for the immediate implementation of new security measures, including tighter inter-agency collaboration, intensified community-based surveillance, and swifter, coordinated responses to any breach. These measures are designed to decisively address both ongoing and emerging security challenges without delay.

The Chairman further stressed that synergy between traditional institutions and security agencies is non-negotiable in the drive to maintain peace and order. Stakeholders present pledged full cooperation and accountability in ensuring that Oshimili North remains secure, stable, and unyielding to any form of criminality.
