POST OTU-UWOLO ACCORD; ESEWEZIE LEADS DELEGATION TO BRIEF OBUZOR OF IBUSA

OBUZOR’S PALACE: Arising after a very successful Peaceful reconciliation of Otu-Uwolo general house yesterday at the residence of the Senior Diokpa of Ibusa/Diokpa of Otu-Uwolo, it was resolved that the Ibusa Peace Reconciliation and Truth Committee led by Ugonwa Igbuzo, Hon. Innocent Esewezie, will move to brief the Obuzor of Igbuzo, as the Prescribed Authority in Ibusa.

Today, the 4-man Peace Delegation comprising of Hon. Chief Innocent Esewezie, Ugonwa-Igbuzo; High Chief Celestine Okafor, Ikwele Igbuzo; Onowu Austin Abuah, Ugo-Ekea cum Palace Secretary; and Onowu Victor Uchuno, PG ICDU Worldwide were at the Palace of the Obuzor of Ibusa, HRH Obi (Prof) L.C Nwoboshi to officially brief him on the journey thus far which is aimed at resolving the Uwolorship dispute in Umuodafe Quarter.

The Obuzor, who was visibly happy, excited and enthusiastic welcomed the Peace Team with so much joy and did not withhold his fatherly admiration. He appreciated them for all their efforts and commitment towards ensuring peaceful reconciliation of all warring parties.
And he has shown eagerness towards ensuring that the last stage of the Peace Template, which is a Meeting with Obuzor and Obuzor-in-Council takes place as soon as possible.
